Memory politics of the far right in Europe

In recent years, we have seen a significant increase of memory politics among far-right political actors. public spheres across Europe, discursive repertoires and historical tropes that mythologize the past been (re)articulated by actors who construe themselves as true heirs bearers national traditions values. This special issue, comprising six research articles on French, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Serbian German cases, adds to new scholarship far right in Europe: empirically, presenting wide range geographically culturally distinct case studies, conceptually, shedding light role use legacies factors context variables various mobilizations today. particular, this shows how supply demand-side dimensions are mediated through performance parties, leaders, protest movements social media.
